As an apprentice at YBS you’ll work across multiple teams and projects, allowing you to gain a wide range of experience and learn about your own strengths and styles from different people. We’ll help you back this up with practical skills too, offering training and support in the everyday business fundamentals like project management, understanding how we run our business finances or presentation skills.


We understand that starting a new job in a large business can be daunting so when you start here, you’ll be assigned a mentor to offer day-to-day support, no matter what you’re working on. Your mentor will always welcome those questions that you don’t even know you have yet. Not only this but you’ll also be sponsored by one of our directors who you’ll meet with regularly to help provide insight and direction on your career path. We’ll help you become a leader of the future through guidance from our leaders of the present.


Working in Customer Services you’ll learn about…


  • The different ways we service our customers, whether using webchat, on the telephone or in one of our branches. We’ll help you develop rounded customer services skills to be confident dealing with any customer query. 

  • How we work with different departments across YBS to service our customers, building relationships with a range of colleagues including those in data protection, compliance and marketing.

We have two main office sites in Bradford and Leeds, please note that this role could be based in either site with travel as required between both.
