As our next Supplier Manager you will be responsible for Supplier Management across the YBS Customer Service function. Based at our Bradford head office you will manage a team to lead and develop the supplier performance framework, ensuring that all suppliers are operating within the YBS supplier relationship policy and risk appetite framework and are delivering in line with contractual obligations.

What You'll Do

In this role you will construct and manage a framework for the monitoring and oversight of all financial services suppliers within the Customer Services function of YBS. You will lead supplier audits, reviewing their alignment to YBS policies, processes and compliance to the appropriate legal and regulatory standards, including but not limited to components of the FCA Handbook, Consumer Credit Act, OFCOM regulation and the Law of Property Act.

In addition to managing the day to day relationship and performance of key suppliers, you will also lead the process for identifying new suppliers, including the tender and pricing process in conjunction with procurement and on-boarding.  

How You’ll Do It

  • Previous experience of contract negotiations/tender processes within financial services

  • Experience of managing multiple suppliers in a highly regulated environment

  • The ability to lead and motivate small to medium sized teams

  • You will have a robust understanding of the financial services industry, markets and competitors
