Hours per week: 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

As our next Business Development Adviser on a 12 month temporary contract, you’ll undertake a range of activities with the aim of increasing mortgage volume and quality through the intermediary market. You’ll engage with mortgage intermediaries through a range of communication mediums, primarily inbound phone calls, to achieve a high volume of quality lending. You’ll join a likeminded team in our Bradford based Accord Sales team.

What You'll Do

In this role, you’ll often need to assist mortgage intermediaries with complex case enquiries, ensuring we can deliver excellent sales and service propositions to the market whether this be over the telephone or through Webchat.

This role will require you to build and maintain strong working relationships with other business areas such as Underwriting Service Delivery, Accord Management and the wider Accord Sales Team to collectively deliver an exceptional customer service to our customers.

How You’ll Do It

  • Previous experience in supporting customers over the telephone

  • Previous mortgage experience

  • The ability to manage your time effectively

  • Past evidence of being able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders

  • Strong communication skills and the motivation to succeed
