As our next Lending Support Adviser based in our hub in Manchester, you’ll provide analytical and administrative support to the Lending Managers in order to grow our presence in the Commercial Lending business. You’ll be heavily involved in supporting them with assessing lending proposals, valuation reports and by attending customer meetings when required.
What You'll Do
In this role, we would expect you to proactively manage and guide customers through our lending process to ensure we are meeting our customer’s needs.
As a Lending Support Adviser, you’ll be the first point of contact for new business applications, providing initial responses to all broker/customer enquiries. Throughout the whole process, you’ll escalate any complaints and identify where we have a vulnerable customer.
You’ll be required to provide information on the progress of applications to our brokers and customers. This will encourage you to take ownership of specific cases that are allocated to you by the Lending Managers. Throughout this process, you’ll need to make sure that all data is accurately input into the various systems that we use.
In order for us to provide an effective customer journey and satisfaction, we’ll need you to act as an interface with other Commercial Lending teams such as Completions & Operations and Portfolio Management to pro-actively keep our customers engaged throughout the lending process.
How You’ll Do It

Evidence of being able to manage competing demands and operate in a fast paced business development environment
By having great communication skills and being able to handle difficult conversations with customers will enhance your ability to build strong relationships with our customers ensuring we are exceeding their expectations
To help support our Lending Managers, you’ll bring your market intelligence of other Commercial Lending products, the Commercial Lending market and competitors
