Supporting Functions is exactly what it sounds like, we are here to support the overall business so that we can simply brilliant at everything we do.

Business Analyst
We are an ever changing business and with that we need support with the changes that need to happen. As a Business Analyst you will be working with different parts of the business in order to analyse and manage change in order for us to get to where we want to be.

Project Manager  
You could also be a Project Manager and in this role you would work on and help deliver one or multiple projects. For either role you would need to be adaptable to change and have an analytical mind.

Whilst working as a Business Analyst you will complete a IS Business Analyst Level 4 and will typically take you 18 months to complete. Whereas working as a Project Manager will see you complete an Associate Project Manager Level 4 which typically takes up to 24 months to complete.  

If you are someone who has a lot of curiosity and a passion to do the right thing and you want to work in an environment where analytical skills and clear communication are vital, then you may be a great fit to be in our Compliance or Financial Crime departments.
 
Compliance Associate
As a Compliance Associate, you’ll be joining a team that understands the regulatory landscape and works with the business to help them identify and manage their regulatory compliance risks. 

Working as a Compliance Associate will see you complete a Compliance & Risk Office Level 3 which typically will take you 18 months to complete.

Financial Crime Intelligence Analyst 
Working within Financial Crime as a Financial Crime Intelligence Analyst you will help ensure that the YBS Group has appropriate 1st line policies, procedures and controls for the management of financial crime, protecting customers and YBSG whilst fulfilling regulatory obligations.  Within this Apprentice scheme you would also spend time within our Information (Cyber) Security department.

What you’ll need
Ideally for any of our Supporting Function roles you will have some strong GCSE results (ideally A-C or 9-4) and you will also need a passion for doing the right thing and the ability to analyse and problem solve.
