We are looking for a Process Transformation Consultant to join our Digital Programmes function here at Yorkshire Building Society. It’s a really exciting time to join and this role offers the opportunity to increase the value and quality of customer outcomes by managing YBS processes end to end and eliminating waste. You’ll work with a likeminded team in our Leeds based function. We have a hybrid working model with working from home capability.


About the role


As Process Transformation Consultant, you’ll create an end-to-end view of YBS processes using appropriate techniques including key process performance metrics and controls. You will -


  • Identify and engage sub process owners and undertake critical analysis of business performance measures

  • Coach senior leaders in the appropriate use of process and customer measures to drive operational decision making and continuous improvement efforts

  • Work with a range of stakeholders to ensure that future state processes are agreed

  • Lead and support the development of an effective continuous improvement culture throughout the organisation, providing expert guidance and support to business teams as they adopt continuous improvement tools and methods

  • Assess the impact of proposed changes across the end-to-end processes, ensuring that all impacts on customers, colleagues, sub processes are fully recognised, understood, and considered during the early stages of the project lifecycle



About you


You’ll ideally be a minimum of Green Belt accredited and have a proven track record of process improvement benefits realisation. In addition, you’ll be able to demonstrate -

  • Experience of developing and coaching continuous improvement methodologies

  • Experience and knowledge of process control frameworks

  • Strong stakeholder management skills as well as the ability to influence
