Registered Support Manager
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £26,238.95 per annum, plus an additional £2,000 per annum once registered
Advance is a highly reputable charitable organisation which specialise in Learning Disabilities and Mental Health throughout the UK, and we are excited to be recruiting for a Registered Support Manager to join our team in Basingstoke. This role requires the successful candidate to be the CQC Registered Manager for this service, providing person-centred support to a group of individuals who lead very busy and active lives. You will be a motivational manager who can inspire the support team to be the best they can be.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated person to work with the Operations Manager in leading and directly line managing a support team to deliver the highest quality of support that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of the individuals who draw on it.
You will lead as an exemplary role model to achieve outstanding, personalised support, ensuring our customers are at heart of all we do, and their needs are met. Ensuring your team feel valued and supported, providing them with a full understanding of what is expected of them and giving them the skills and tools to undertake their role to the best of their abilities.

Experience of delivering high quality, personalised support within the Health and Social Care sector is essential, along with the ability to lead and motivate a team of people to deliver excellent, personalised support whilst maintaining a confident, professional, compassionate, and respectful outlook.
Having achieved a minimum of a level 4 Diploma in Adult Care, including Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent) or a commitment to undertake this qualification.
You will work to protect individual’s right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect in line with Advance and the local Safeguarding Adults policies and procedures.
You will be able to develop and role model excellent relationships and collaboration with external stakeholders including commissioners, individuals’ circles of support, and regulators, ensuring Advance has a highly regarded reputation in your area.
Please note a valid driving licence and access to own vehicle are essential for this role.
You will need to possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
To deliver the high-quality support both Advance and the people we support expect, this role requires you to work flexibly. This could include working some weekends, bank holidays, waking nights or sleep in duties, if required.
Advance operate a span of control pay bands structure for the Support Manager salaries based on customer hours. We expect the Support Manager to work closely with the regional Business Development team to increase business. Salaries and customer hours will be reviewed quarterly for any uplift and half yearly for any decrease in contracted hours. The pay band ranges from £24,898.65 to £32,940.45 per annum and there is a supplement of £2,000 for Registered Manager status.
