Local Government Pension Scheme
The Council offers a defined benefit pension scheme which you and the Council pay regular contributions.
Defined benefit means the pension you are paid is defined with certainty in advance and you will receive that level regardless of how well or how badly the pension scheme’s investments might perform.
The scheme includes ill health retirement, death in service benefits and a dependent’s pension to your spouse/civil partner/nominated co-habiting partner.

Annual Leave: Our employees benefit from a generous annual leave offer of between 25 - 30 days , based on their length of service.
Public Bank Holidays: in addition to annual leave there is currently 10 public bank holidays thoughout the year.

Flexi-time: allows employees to adjust their start/finish time, while still working their normal working hours. It provides flexibility within a set framework. Employees will be expected to work set core hours.
