Financial Controller
(Full time – 37.5 hours per week)
Are you a confident, values-led finance professional who would like to use your expertise to make a real difference in the Isle of Man community? Hospice Isle of Man is looking for an enthusiastic and capable Financial Controller to lead our finance function and help support the long-term sustainability of our much-loved charity.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role at the heart of Hospice, providing clear financial leadership, insight and advice to support our Chief Executive Officer, Senior Leadership Team, Board and colleagues across the organisation. You will oversee the day-to-day finance function across Hospice Care, Share the Care and Hospice Properties Limited, ensuring our financial systems, reporting, controls, payroll and audit processes are accurate, effective and well managed.
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical finance skills with warmth, integrity and a collaborative approach. You will be comfortable preparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and Board-level reports, while also supporting colleagues to understand and use financial information confidently. You will line manage and develop a small finance team, promote good governance and controls, and help us continue to improve the way financial information supports decision-making across Hospice.
