About the role
Are you keen to learn/develop new skills within the field of vision support and make a real difference?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the Laxey School and Vision Support Service (VSS) teams as a Senior Education Support Officer, providing tailored support to a pupil with a vision impairment. You will be supporting the pupil’s academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring their full inclusion within the school environment, and fostering independence.

Joining a supportive and friendly team, you will have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills within this specialised area, with specifically allocated time and full training in the use of specialised ICT. Your enthusiasm and empathy will be crucial when working across key stages and supporting transition.
