About the role

Are you someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming?

As a Cleaner at Queen Elizabeth II High School, you will be joining our dedicated team who take pride in the work they do, through working in conjunction with our Site Manager and colleagues to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained.

You will be responsible for general cleaning tasks such as washing, sweeping, tidying, vacuuming, polishing, dusting and removal of litter receptacles for disposal, as well as using mechanical powered equipment, e.g. polishing machines, scrubbing machines and carpet shampooers. You’ll also monitor your work areas, ensuring they are kept free from obstructions, and for identifying and reporting any health and safety concerns to management.

If you are well-organised, self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and you would like to be an active contributor to the life of our school, then this role could be perfect for you!

Your hours of work will be 10am - 6pm Monday to Thursday, and 10am - 5.30pm on Fridays.
