The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (“the Authority”) regulates firms engaged in financial activities, including insurance, pensions, banking, investments, fiduciary services and fund administration. The Authority is also responsible for supervision of anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance for those involved in the financial sector as well as a range of other Designated Businesses, and oversight of compliance with the Beneficial Ownership Act 2017.


MANAGER (INSPECTIONS) – AML/CFT SUPERVISION DIVISION

An exciting and dynamic opportunity has arisen at the Authority for the role of Manager in the AML/CFT Supervision Division. This is a fantastic role in which to show and develop compliance supervision skills across a wide range of regulated financial services businesses and supervised designated businesses.

The successful candidate will join an existing and expanding proactive division at a time when we are introducing an updated approach to supervision and oversight involving enhanced data management and analytics to inform our risk-based approach. As an AML/CFT manager, you will lead your team in risk based inspection projects, and outreach with a wide range of industry firms and bodies

The postholder will have a well-developed working knowledge of financial services, including designated businesses and associated legislation and guidance including trends and developments and a well-developed knowledge of AML/CFT (including proliferation financing) and associated legislation. The ability to work under pressure and manage a workload of varied complexity and competing priorities along with strong people management skills is also essential. The candidate will hold, or be working towards, a professional qualification relevant to the financial services industry.
