About the role

Ready to kick-start your career in plumbing with hands-on experience across the Island?

As an Apprentice Plumber in the Public Estates and Housing Division, you will have the opportunity to assist in the undertaking of planned maintenance and repairs for the Department of Infrastructure’s property portfolio. Properties include the Hospital and other medical facilities, Social Care homes, schools, factories, workshops, office buildings, ports & harbours, quarries, public transport, leisure and motorsport properties.

Under the supervision of a Tradesperson, you will gain experience and learn all necessary skills to undertake reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of building fixtures and equipment, as well as carrying out minor works and providing support services, all while completing your Apprenticeship course at University College Isle of Man.
