The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (“the Authority”) regulates firms engaged in financial activities, including insurance, pensions, banking, investments, fiduciary services and fund administration. The Authority is also responsible for oversight of anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance for those involved in the financial sector as well as a range of other Designated Businesses and has oversight of compliance with the Beneficial Ownership Act 2017.


SENIOR INVESTIGATOR – ENFORCEMENT & INTELLIGENCE (E & I) DIVISION

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Authority for the role of Senior Investigator in the E & I Division.

The successful candidate will play an integral part in supporting the team in investigating regulatory misconduct, maintaining the Isle of Man’s reputation as a financial centre of high integrity and ensuring that the Authority’s regulatory objectives are fulfilled.

The postholder will have responsibility for leading and overseeing the E & I team in respect of efficient progression of Enforcement cases from pre-referral to the point of closure. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working in a regulatory/industry environment in the fields of regulatory enforcement, law, compliance, risk, audit and/or forensic accounting. The candidate will have proven experience in a leadership/management role with the ability to work in a collaborative style. A relevant professional qualification in investigative practice, risk, compliance, law, accounting or AML/CFT related is also essential.
