The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (“the Authority”) regulates firms engaged in financial activities, including insurance, pensions, banking, investments, fiduciary services and fund administration. The Authority is also responsible for oversight of anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance for those involved in the financial sector as well as a range of other Designated Businesses and has oversight of compliance with the Beneficial Ownership Act 2017.


ASSISTANT INVESTIGATOR – ENFORCEMENT & INTELLIGENCE

An exciting and dynamic opportunity has arisen at the Authority for the role of Assistant Investigator in the Enforcement & Intelligence Division. The candidate will have responsibility for assisting with the efficient progression of intelligence information and Enforcement cases referred to the Division.

The successful candidate will have an awareness of financial services and associated legislation, regulation and guidance including trends and developments and have effective interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills, a flexible attitude and the ability to quickly and accurately assimilate information are also essential. Previous relevant experience in either a financial services, operational, intelligence, compliance, assurance, risk or audit role is desirable. The candidate will ideally hold, or be working towards, a relevant professional qualification in the fields of intelligence, investigative practice, risk, compliance, law, accounting or AML/CFT related.
