About the role

Ready to lead the way in exceptional community nursing?

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver skilled, evidence‑based care to patients who often have highly complex needs, working closely with a wide multi‑disciplinary team to support individuals and their families within the community. You’ll help people maintain independence, meet their individual health needs and avoid unnecessary hospital admissions, all while managing a delegated caseload across patients’ homes, residential settings and nurse‑led clinics. With autonomy in your practice and the chance to step up and lead the team in the absence of the Lead Nurse, you’ll make a real and lasting difference to community health.

As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will play an integral role in leading, supporting and developing staff within the team as we prepare for the changes ahead. This role blends clinical expertise with compassionate leadership, giving you the opportunity to contribute to service development, nurture junior colleagues and champion high‑quality care across the community. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
