About the role

Are you looking for a hands-on career where your work directly supports patient safety and life‑saving treatment?

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join the Sterile Services Department at Noble’s Hospital as a Trainee Sterile Services Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long‑term career in healthcare, with full training and development provided while you work towards professional qualifications. Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll play a vital behind‑the‑scenes role ensuring surgical and medical instruments are thoroughly cleaned, decontaminated, assembled and ready for safe use across theatres, wards and clinics, helping clinicians deliver the very best care.

This development post is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail and a commitment to learning, who takes pride in doing things properly and safely. You’ll gain specialist knowledge, develop technical skills and contribute to a critical service that operates Island‑wide, including participation in rotas once trained. In return, Manx Care offers a stable role within a resilient healthcare service, structured training, and the chance to be part of a team that truly lives its CARE values every day.
