About the role
Do you want the autonomy to manage your own specialist caseload and make a direct difference to people recovering at home?
As a Specialist Physiotherapist in Intermediate Care Services, you will deliver a high standard of physiotherapy across community and hospital settings to service users with medical, orthopaedic, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. You will complete specialist assessments, provide clinical diagnosis, agree rehabilitation goals with service users, and design and adapt evidence based treatment programmes to support recovery, step down or step up care, and timely discharge.
You will join a forward thinking, multidisciplinary team within Manx Care where clinical judgement, collaboration and professional independence are valued. You will contribute to service development, share your expertise through in service training, and support the education, supervision and mentoring of junior staff, support workers and physiotherapy students.
