About the role

Are you confident leading a team and ready to take on a key role in one of the Isle of Man Government’s most important projects? As a Census Supervising Officer, you will manage a team of up to 12, helping deliver the Isle of Man Census. This major data collection exercise directly informs Government planning and policy for the next five years, and you will play a vital part in making sure it is delivered successfully.

You will allocate workloads, provide day to day guidance, and step in to visit households or individuals where needed. You will also monitor progress and report any issues to the Research Manager. Bring your calm, confident leadership to give clear direction, make decisions, and adapt your working pattern to meet the needs of the operation. The role runs for 8 weeks, with working hours aligned to your team, including evenings on weekdays and daytime hours at weekends.
