About the role

We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic Casual Swim Instructors to join our welcoming team within Manx Sport and Recreation!

We asked some of our casual swim instructors some questions regarding their role:

Ella - What does this role offer you? "I get job satisfaction when my swimmers progress and I see their confidence grow. The children and adults I teach are all incredible people and I learn so much from them. The NSC also offers a supportive, friendly environment within a great team."

Agnieszka - Who do you think this role would suit? "Anyone who feels like water is their element. To be a good teacher you just need to find that passion and inspire others to feel the same. Swimming is a great skill to have, for your overall health and wellbeing, and teaching is just helping others achieve their potential."

You must hold a Level 1 Swim Teachers Certificate along with the Level 2 Award and Certificate from Swim England. If you’re eager to bring your skills to the pool and help others thrive in the water this could be a great opportunity for you!
