This advert is recruiting for three different positions:
- 13 hours per week, term time only, permanent position. Hours to be worked over Tuesday and Wednesday.
- 26 hours per week, term time only, permanent position. Hours to be spread over 5 days with the expected hours being 09:15 to 15:00 (though there may be some flexibility with this)
- 32 hours 30 minutes per week, term time only, limited term appointment for 1 year from October, covering maternity leave.

This role is term time, which means that the gross annual salary advertised will be reduced proportionately based on the number of weeks worked during the academic year. Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year.
Please note that the full time equivalent for this position is 37 hours, so roles advertised with contracted hours less than 37 will be classed as part time. The gross annual salary advertised will be reduced based on the part time hours.

Joining St John’s Primary School as an Education Support Officer in the Specialist Provision Centre, you’ll help deliver tailored learning to pupils with a range of needs including social/emotional, behavioural, physical, sensory and learning difficulties. Working closely with the team, you’ll support pupils both one-to-one and in small groups, helping them follow individual education plans, develop key life skills and take part in school life through trips, activities and integration with mainstream lessons.
