About the role

Ready to help establish a world-first approach to trusted data governance?

The Department for Enterprise is seeking a forward-thinking Registrar to lead the establishment of the new Data Asset Registry - a key part of the Isle of Man’s pioneering Data Asset Foundations initiative.

This is a rare opportunity to help shape a world-first statutory framework designed to support the trusted governance, stewardship and management of data as an asset. As Registrar, you will play a central role within a newly established Competent Body, supporting the operation and oversight of the Data Asset Register and wider Data Asset Foundations framework.

Working across government, industry, professional services, and international partners, you will help develop operational processes, assurance approaches, governance standards, and registry functions that underpin this globally significant initiative.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who is comfortable building new structures, working across disciplines, and helping translate innovative policy into credible operational delivery. The role combines strategic thinking with practical implementation and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to one of the Isle of Man’s most ambitious and internationally significant digital economy initiatives.

Apply now and help shape the future of trusted data governance.
