About the role
Could you support individuals in crisis to access the right care and begin their recovery?
As a Community Mental Health Professional in the Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team, you’ll work within a responsive service providing 24/7 urgent mental health assessment and intervention for people of all ages experiencing acute mental health difficulties, with a focus on timely, person‑centred care that supports recovery, restores hope, and empowers individuals to regain control.
You’ll complete holistic assessments of need and risk, considering biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors. Working collaboratively with individuals, families, and community partners, you will deliver intensive home‑based interventions as an alternative to admission or ensure effective signposting to appropriate services. In this role, you will develop clear care and risk management plans, support safe discharge pathways, and contribute to high‑quality home treatment as a community mental health practitioner.

An enhanced with barring police check is required for this post, the cost of which will be covered by the Isle of Man Government.
