About the role
Are you an experienced Communications Manager with the vision and expertise to lead communications and engagement for the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)? We are looking for a proactive communications professional to lead our external communications and outreach activities. As the island’s independent information rights regulator, the ICO plays a vital role in protecting public information rights and promoting compliance with data protection, freedom of information and unsolicited communications legislation.
In this varied and fast-paced role, you'll develop and deliver the ICO’s communications strategy, create compelling content, manage stakeholder engagement and oversee the organisation’s website and public profile. Working closely with the Commissioner and subject matter experts, you'll turn complex information into clear, engaging messages that help individuals and organisations better understand their information rights.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation and help shape its future direction. If you’re a creative communicator with a talent for building relationships, delivering impactful campaigns and driving meaningful engagement, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and help raise awareness of information rights across the Isle of Man.
