About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated and caring Bank 'Mental Health' Health Care Assistants to join our dedicated team at Manannan Court.

Working as part of a multi-professional team, you will play an important role in supporting individuals with their care and wellbeing, helping to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a safe and supportive environment.

We are seeking caring and proactive individuals who work well with others, communicate effectively and can remain calm under pressure. Previous experience in a healthcare setting would be beneficial, but it is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.

Flexibility is important in this role, and you will need to be adaptable in responding to the needs of both patients and the service. Above all, we are looking for people who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Pay for Bank Health Care Assistants is currently £16.14 - £19.21 per hour depending on experience, plus an additional 10.35% rolled up holiday pay.

Subject to meeting eligibility criteria, the IOM Public Service offers two pension arrangements: the Isle of Man Government Unified Scheme 2011 or the Isle of Man Government Defined Contribution (DC) Arrangement.
