About the role

Do you want to play a key role in supporting students during one of the most important times in their education?

As an Exam Invigilator, you’ll join a bank of reliable and committed individuals who support examinations across the Island’s High Schools and University College Isle of Man (UCM).

This flexible opportunity allows you to contribute as and when required. Exams take place throughout the year, and you may be asked to support November and January examination series, internal mock exams during term time, or specialist online and written exams at UCM. Most exams are scheduled Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.00pm, with occasional early evening or weekend sessions. As this is a bank role, there is no obligation for you to accept work offered, or for the Department, UCM or schools to provide work.

You'll help create a calm and professional exam environment, enabling students and candidates across the Isle of Man to complete qualifications and achieve their potential.

If you're flexible, reliable and able to engage confidently with students and candidates, helping them feel supported in what can be a challenging environment, we'd love to hear from you.
