About the role

Join the Legislative Drafting Division as a Legislation Officer, where you'll play a key role in supporting the development and progression of primary legislation for the Isle of Man. Working alongside specialist drafters, you'll undertake legislative research, proofread and quality-check Bills and related documents, coordinate workflows and help ensure legislative projects progress accurately and efficiently.
This is a varied and intellectually engaging role that combines research, document management, reporting and process improvement. You'll work with colleagues across Government, the Clerk of Tynwald's Office and other stakeholders while developing specialist knowledge of legislative processes, legal systems and emerging digital tools. If you thrive on organisation, problem-solving and working with precision, you'll find plenty of opportunities to build your skills and make a meaningful contribution within a unique legal environment.

Things to note
A standard police check is required for this post, the cost of which will be covered by the Isle of Man Government.
