About the role

Looking for flexible bank nursing work in a unique clinical setting?

Join the Prison Healthcare Team as a Bank Nurse at the Isle of Man Prison and become part of a dedicated nurse-led, multidisciplinary service delivering high-quality healthcare to individuals with a wide range of physical and mental health needs. With flexible bank shifts to suit your availability, you'll assess, treat and support patients, manage healthcare needs, develop and evaluate care plans, and contribute to health promotion and wellbeing initiatives that help improve outcomes for some of the Island's most vulnerable people.

This varied and rewarding bank role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively across prison, community and acute healthcare services, ensuring continuity of care and supporting patients through physical, psychological and social interventions. You'll hold your own caseload, respond to healthcare emergencies, build therapeutic relationships, and play a key role in promoting positive behavioural change, all while working alongside a supportive team committed to delivering excellent patient care. The role also offers the chance to develop your clinical skills and gain valuable experience in a challenging setting where every shift brings new opportunities to make an impact.

If you're a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution within a unique healthcare setting, we'd love to hear from you!
