This role is term time, which means that the gross annual salary advertised will be reduced proportionately based on the number of weeks worked during the academic year. Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year.

Please note that the full time equivalent for this position is 37 hours, so roles advertised with contracted hours less than 37 will be classed as part time. The gross annual salary advertised will be reduced based on the part-time hours.

About the role

Join our Education Support Team as a Senior Education Support Officer (Cover and Whole School Support) and play a vital role in supporting students’ learning, wellbeing and day-to-day school experience.

This varied and rewarding role involves supervising lessons during short-term teacher absences, providing administrative support and working closely with teaching, non-teaching and leadership staff to ensure students remain engaged, safe and supported throughout the school day. You will help maintain continuity of learning by promoting positive behaviour, setting clear expectations and responding effectively to the needs of individual students and classes.
