About the role and our team
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Social Worker to join our Care Management team on the Isle of Man.
In this role you will be involved in the care management of children and young people who have a disability or impairment. These children may be the subject of Children with Complex Needs Plans, Looked After Children Care Plans or Child Protection Plans.
Our main focus is to provide the best outcomes for young people and their families.
You will have an active role in this by:
- Delivering therapeutic services where appropriate
- Undertaking assessment, implementation and review of social work processes alongside children and their families
- Bringing together a team around the child to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach
The service is currently in the process of a transformation so your experience and ideas will be key in developing the support and intervention we provide to children and young people giving you the opportunity to make a positive impact to the service users on the Island.
