About the role and our team

We are seeking a passionate and innovative individual to provide strategic leadership and guidance to protect and improve the health of the Isle of Man.

As Director of Public Health you will hold a vital role developing, shaping and assuring the health protection function to improve the health and wellbeing of the Island’s population and will provide public health and clinical advice across government.

Public Heath Isle of Man is separate to the UK’s Public Health systems however the Directorate does work closely with UK organisations and other Crown Dependencies giving you a unique opportunity to build strong relationships and develop the service.

To be successful in this role, you will be required to bring strong leadership skills and your knowledge and experience to lead the Directorate and it’s staff to achieve it’s objectives.
