Hear from our dedicated colleague, Alex:

Alex Lambie has worked in the Mental Health Service since graduating in Mental Health Nursing. Whilst working as a Band 6 CMHP Alex was supported to train as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, and was successful in securing a post in this field soon after that. Here’s what he had to say about working as a CMHP:

"If you are interested in human behaviour and psychology it’s an amazing team to work for. There are many opportunities for supervision and training as a Band 6 CMHP and the multidisciplinary team allows you to practice in a recovery focused way."
