About the role and our team

Would you love to work in a stunning location, somewhere that offers great career development and where you can achieve a great work-life balance?

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our friendly team at Ramsey District Cottage Hospital on the Isle of Man.

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will have responsibility for the nursing assessment of patient care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.

Some of your other responsibilities will include:

  • Incorporating health education and health promotion within clinical practice through the provision of verbal and written information to patients/relatives/carers
  • Supervising junior nurses and Health Care Assistants who are providing care to patients
  • Keeping records in regards to patient-related activity
  • Managing the resources available to care for patients in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse

What can this role offer me?

By joining us you’ll be stepping away from NHS pressures and demands, as the Island’s healthcare system is similar but separate to the UK NHS.

As of April 1st 2021 smoking will no longer be permitted on our Manx Care sites. For support and advice on abstinence from smoking, please contact Quit4You on 642404 or Quit4You@gov.im
