About the role and our team
Join our team as a School Cleaner at Scoill yn Jubilee to provide an effective and thorough cleaning service to the school and its users!
Day to day, you’ll carry out various duties including:
- Washing, cleaning, sweeping, tidying, vacuum cleaning, polishing and dusting
- Removal of litter receptacles for disposal
- Using mechanical powered equipment, e.g. polishing machines, scrubbing machines, vacuum cleaning wet and dry and carpet shampooers
You will be a front line representative at the site, so you'll need to use your excellent communication skills to with both members of the public, students and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
You’ll have access to all the great courses the Isle of Man Government offer, through LEAD, our Learning, Education and Development Service.

Please note an enhanced with barring police check is required for this post which the Department will cover the cost of for you.
A uniform will also be provided.
