About the role and our team
We are looking for two enthusiastic, flexible and motivated people to become part of our dynamic, forward thinking team of Health Care Assistants on the Trauma and Orthopaedic Wards (Ward 11 & 12).
This role will require you to have a caring attitude with effective interpersonal and communication skills, as you will be dealing with patients, their family and friends. Previous experience of working in a healthcare setting would be an advantage but is not essential, as training opportunities to develop/extend your skills will be provided.
Day to day, some of your duties will include:
- Assisting Registered Practitioners in the delivery of care to all patients
- Performing, monitoring and recording basic observations
- Assisting with personal and oral hygiene
- Maintaining accurate written records
- Assisting with dietary and nutritional needs
- Maintaining ward stock levels

This role offers you lots of development opportunities, from completing qualifications such as NVQ in Health and Social Care to multiple learning opportunities on the ward. For example, shadowing other members of the team and relevant training courses to help you excel in your role.

Free on-site parking is available at Noble’s Hospital. A uniform will also be provided.
A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
