About the role and our team

We are looking for a flexible and self-motivated individual to support the Onchan Primary School cleaning team.

The main purpose of this job is to provide a cleaning service to the school and its' users. Working in conjunction with the school caretaker, you would be required to thoroughly clean designated areas of the school and ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained at all times.

You will be responsible for:

  • Being a front line representative at the site, to interact and communicate with both members of the public, students and staff in an appropriate manner
  • Making the areas clean and safe for Students, Staff and Public who use the buildings/sites
  • Continuous monitoring and reporting of Health & Safety concerns and maintenance issues

Please note an enhanced with barring police check is required for this post which the Department will cover the cost of for you.

A uniform will also be provided.

A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
