Join our General Surgical Ward at Noble’s Hospital as a Health Care Assistant!
Day to day, you’ll deal with elective and emergency surgical admissions and work closely with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide the highest standard of patient care.
Your duties will include:
- Escorting patients to various locations throughout the hospital
- Assisting with personal care and mobilising of patients
- Performing record and report basic clinical observations
- Measuring and recording fluid balance to include input and output, being responsible for ensuring the registered practitioner is informed of recordings
- Removing and replacing simple wound dressings and apply non-prescription creams and ointments
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all members of the multi professional team
- Participating in the verbal handover of patient information as directed by the Registered Practitioner
You’ll join our 21 bedded ward and work with a close-knit team.
We’re looking for someone with a friendly, caring attitude, who has a willingness to learn and is an effective communicator.

Training opportunities to develop and build on your knowledge and skills will be available, including the support to complete your NVQ Level II in Health and Social Care.
