About the role and our team
We are looking for a motivated Paramedic to join our dedicated team within the Isle of Man Ambulance Service, to provide high quality pre-hospital care Island-wide.
Working as part of the integrated Urgent and Emergency care services you will carry out clinical patient care, responding to 999 calls and urgent community pre-hospital care requirements. Some of your responsibilities will include delivering treatment such as drug therapies, performing advanced clinical interventions, undertaking emergency driving, daily vehicle and equipment checks, and restocking supplies and equipment.
The Isle of Man Ambulance Service is a unique place to work; you will work in partnership with colleagues across Manx Care and the wider emergency services to provide high quality and timely care to the Island’s population.

By joining us you’ll be stepping away from some of the UK NHS pressures and demands, as the Island’s healthcare system is similar to, but separate from, the UK NHS.
You will also benefit from an allowance of up to 25% of your basic pay for working unsocial hours.

You’ll also have access to all the great courses the Isle of Man Government offer, through LEaD, our Learning, Education and Development Service.

About the Island and relocating

Additional information

A full, valid Driving Licence with category C1 is required for this role. A uniform will also be provided.
