The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority is the regulatory body for the financial sector in the Isle of Man and regulates firms that are engaged in a range of financial activities, including insurance, pensions, banking, fiduciary services, fund administration and management and investment advice and management. It also provides AML oversight to the Designated Businesses.
MANAGER – COMMUNICATIONS
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Authority for a Manager – Communications role in the Operations team. The postholder will be responsible for managing and providing advice on the internal and external communications of the Authority. They will be responsible for managing the Authority’s various communication platforms, including its on-line presence and social media channels. They will also work with all divisions of the Authority to produce communications appropriate to the needs of the Authority’s stakeholders.
The postholder will be able to demonstrate experience in a communications or PR role, a sound understanding of the use of the range of communication platforms and proven experience of engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Ideally the candidate will have a relevant professional qualification or be working towards one.
