About the role and our team

Are you an Operating Department Practitioner looking to take the next step in your career within a supportive and professionally rewarding environment?

Come and join us on the Isle of Man! We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Theatre Practitioner (Scrub).

You will be responsible for the assessment of perioperative care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for patients, to ensure individual care is delivered to a high standard in a safe environment.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Checking the equipment and environment are functioning appropriately and ready for use
  • Supervising and monitoring theatre practitioners and students
  • Communicating with patients, relatives, carers and other members of the team to ensure that appropriate information is shared and patient needs are met
  • Arranging the reception, transfer and discharge of patients

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role.
