This post holder will be responsible for providing care and support to service users in their own home, and ensuring they can achieve the maximum level of independence to maintain a good quality of life. Home Care is the cornerstone of the Departments' strategy to provide care in the community wherever possible.
Home Care Assistants are required to have a flexible approach. We will provide full training, and support people to achieve QCF Level 2 qualifications; and offer a flexible working environment with a minimum guaranteed hours system. We also provide uniforms, mileage allowance and excellent in-house training.
A Home Care Assistant is required to be physically healthy, be able to work as part of a team and also independently.
Driving Licence and Own Vehical is essential
