About the role and our unit
The stroke team is interdisciplinary, consisting of nurses, healthcare assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and the third sector. The team is welcoming and supportive and we are looking for someone who has a clear track record of managing patient focused care to a high standard.
Our goal is to provide the people on the Isle of Man with the best small island stroke service available. In this role, you will be central to supporting the expansion and development of the stroke service. There will be a strong focus on research, audit and customer engagement to achieve this.
You will be able to use your strong leadership and relationship skills in order to manage and support the team to deliver excellence in the case of people affected by stroke.
The role will give you the opportunity to use innovation, curiosity and problem solving skills to both deliver excellent patient care and drive change.

National Insurance Holiday Scheme
The Isle of Man is offering a National Insurance Holiday Scheme which allows newly employed, relocated or returning residents to apply for a refund on their National Insurance contributions for their first year of living or returning to the Isle of Man, with refunds capped at £4,000.
