About the Role

We are looking to recruit two Band 6 Registered Nurses to join our motivated, trusted and professional Intensive Care Unit and High Dependency Unit Team. 

Our unit is a six bedded combined intensive care and high dependency unit, providing critical care services for the Isle of Man. We care for patients from a variety of disciplines including medical, surgical, and trauma.

We are looking for individuals who are hardworking, forward thinking, patient focussed and would like to make a difference in our patients lives.

You will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for patients to ensure delivery of a high standard of nursing care. You will also organise your own workload to ensure that the interests of patients are paramount. Your duties will also include maintaining patient healthcare records to agreed standards in line with Professional and organisational guidelines.

You must have at least 3 years critical care experience or have completed a relevant critical care course. IT skills are desirable.

Please note an enhanced police check will be required for this post which the Department will cover the cost for you.
