About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Teacher of Science to join a highly successful department at Queen Elizabeth High School which will involve teaching Key Stage 3, 4 and A Level students.
You will be required for January 2020 or as soon as possible after.
The main duties include:
- Attending meetings of the department and contribute to the review and development of the department
- Assisting with activities beyond the classroom to support children’s development
- Liaising with parents and colleagues in support of pupil progress
- Differentiating lessons to assist students to progress at an appropriate rate
- Reporting regularly to parents on student progress and maintaining records of student progress in line with school policy
All teachers except Newly Qualified Teachers, act as a form tutor and share in responsibility for the smooth running of the school community. You must be willing to contribute to extra-curricular activities.
Please note an enhanced with barring police check is required for this post, which the Department will cover the cost of for you.
