Our graduate programmes

With the increase of Government legislation and public awareness driving corporate investment into renewable energy and waste management, the environmental sector offers individuals exciting and diverse career paths. Olleco offers a unique opportunity for you to work for a company who is primarily concerned with reducing its customers impact on the environment in the most technically innovative way. We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate our values and are passionate about growing their career with a dynamic company. In return we are able to offer:

  • Two-year training programmes in our commercial division

  • One-year industrial placements to undergraduates within our technical division


Our purpose build biodiesel plant is the UK’s largest processing site solely dedicated to producing biodiesel from used cooking oil. Graduates will be involved in supporting the biodiesel plant, used cooking oil processing sites and anaerobic digestion plant with trouble shooting, improvement projects and general engineering support. Entry requirements: minimum 2:1 in Chemical Engineering.


We are a leading player in the supply of fresh cooking oil in the food manufacturing, catering and food retailing sector. We serve some of the best known and respected brands in the country and have built a strong reputation based on integrity, reliability and rigorous standards of compliance.

Graduates will be placed in a role within either our used cooking oil or food waste divisions. Our training programme will give you experience in Operations, Sales, Transport, Health & Safety, Finance, Marketing, Purchasing, IT and HR. Entry requirements: minimum 2:1 in a Business, Science or Environmental related degree.

Industrial placements

Our one-year industrial placements are available within our Technical division. These offer undergraduates the opportunity to work as part of the operations team on our biodiesel and anaerobic digestion plants. To be considered, undergraduates must be studying a Chemical Engineering degree and are expected to achieve a 2:1. Undergraduates who join us on a placement will have the opportunity to secure graduate roles.
