Children who come into care often have early life experiences of abuse and neglect can. This can result in emotional trauma for the child, which results in a range of challenges, including low self-esteem because of abandonment. Across the country, local authorities entrust children into the care of our dedicated, experienced foster carers and adoptors.

That’s where you come in. We are building a dedicated carer recruitment team that will specialise in developing strong, appealing messages about TACT, our services, and the full range of financial support and comprehensive training that we offer to all of our carers. The team will be the face of TACT to prospective carers, and will need to share, and project our deep affinity with the cause of looked after children and young people, and the work we all do to resolve trauma, build confidence, and improve long term life chances.
