We currently have an exciting opportunity for Teacher (SEN) to join our fantastic team at Camberwell Park Specialist School

This is a permanent, full-time role on the Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale plus SEN allowance, ideally starting September 2026.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join our specialist team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs while contributing to the ongoing development of our school community.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be qualified to teach in the UK
  • Have successful teaching experience and experience working with children and young people with additional needs
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all learners
  • Understand the importance of personalised learning and adaptive teaching
  • Be committed to promoting positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing
  • Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Be reflective, resilient and committed to ongoing professional development

What You'll Be Doing
As a Teacher at Camberwell Park, you will fulfil the professional responsibilities outlined in the Teachers' Standards and School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document.

You will:

  • Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of pupils
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all pupils can succeed
  • Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place
  • Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development alongside their academic achievement
  • Promote positive behaviour for learning in line with school policies
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum planning, teaching resources and assessment practices
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning
  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers and external agencies to support pupil outcomes
  • Contribute to school self-evaluation and improvement initiatives
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and support the development of colleagues where appropriate
  • Actively contribute to the wider life of the school community
