Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a number of dedicated SEN Teachers to join our fantastic team at Orchard House High School.
Orchard House High School is a brand-new specialist secondary school dedicated to supporting students aged 11–19 with Significant Learning Difficulties (SLD) and/or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

About the role

As our pupil numbers increase, we are seeking experienced and confident SEN Teachers ready to contribute to and help shape our high-quality specialist provision within a growing school. You will:

  • Provide outstanding teaching and learning for students
  • Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Help design and deliver a highly personalised curriculum
  • Create meaningful learning experiences that support communication, independence, and life skills
  • Drive progress, raise achievement, and celebrate every success
  • Play an active role in the day-to-day life and leadership of the school
  • Contribute to ongoing school improvement and self-evaluation
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
