About the Role

Sense Scotland's Learning Hub is an innovative post-school education service based in Kinning Park, Glasgow. Designed for young people aged 18-21 with complex additional support needs, this specialist and supportive environment enables learners to continue their education journey after leaving school. The Hub fosters growth, learning, and engagement, empowering young people to develop skills and achieve their personal goals.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by supporting them in their education and personal development.

As a Learner Support Practitioner, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to meet the individual needs of learners. You will provide direct support with daily care needs, communication, and personal care, ensuring learners can fully engage in their individual learning plans.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality support in line with learners’ individual Support Plans.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and medication administration.
• Support learners in their education and social development.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure effective communication with colleagues and families.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
• Participate in training and professional development.
• Ensure appropriate use of petty cash and submit receipts as required.
• Support learners in developing financial management skills.

About You
