Product Administrator
What does the role involve:
The Product Administrator will work as part of the Product Code team and will be responsible for creating and maintaining product and supplier data within the ERP and PIM systems. The role will have a strong focus on data quality, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and maintained to agreed standards. The position will involve regular liaising with external suppliers and internal stakeholders across the business to obtain and validate the correct data for entry into these systems. In addition, the role will play a key part in supporting the sustainability and carbon portal, working closely with both suppliers and customers.
What you will be doing:
- Be responsible for the accuracy and relevance of product and supplier data, including input, collection, and ongoing review
- Creating new product codes and helping the release of product and suppliers accounts, when applicable by the business
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to obtain and validate the correct data
- Obtaining data from our suppliers to help drive information into the PIM and ERP system and drive Data Quality
- Triage and answer queries on the Sustainability portal, this can involve speaking to key stakeholders, such as Customers and Suppliers
- Responsibility for key EPD information, including Carbon reporting measures
- Liaise with and engage with suppliers in order to reduce errors and aid reduction in manual intervention for new product lines import
- Complete allocated housekeeping and maintenance tasks
- Complete assigned project tasks as required
- Complete onboarding and support tasks as needed
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in a product data-driven environment
- Significant data/business processing / quality management
- Able to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Process adherence and data quality / entry
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Expertise working with cross functional teams and business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and/or execute projects.
- Excellent client/user interaction skills.
